Ambassador Evanna Lynch
Evanna Lynch is on top of the world right now. After spending several years playing the delightfully kooky Luna Lovegood in the endlessly popular Harry Potter films, she is now ready to get started on lots of other projects. Lucky for us, reading is one of her favourite things to do. So it was a natural fit when she took over as MS READaTHON Ambassador for the second year in a row.
Evanna has been so great to us this year and we just love working with her. She was such a big hit at our launch this year. Even with all of the TV crews and photographers all trying to get an interview, she didn’t let it faze her… not even one little bit! Evanna spent the day chatting to all of the lucky kids who were there and signing all of their Harry Potter books.
One of things we like most about our ambassador is that she has really embraced why it is important to support the work of MS Ireland through the MS READaTHON. She has spent time with us learning about the services we provide and we even took her on a tour of our MS Care Centre. The interest she has shown leaves us in no doubt that she is a fantastic MS READaTHON Ambassador!

I was and still am a big reader and I think there is nothing better that losing yourself in a book and creating the story within your imagination. With the MS READaTHON you get to read wonderful books but also you are raising money for people with MS. MS Ireland are really good at providing services for over 8,000 families living with MS and they need the money to run their care centre, their home visit service, counseling and their information line, among others.”
