This novella was very much needed after all the events in A Court Of Wings And Ruin. It is perfect in every way as it calms you down to help prepare for the final book in the series. It develops the relationship between Feyre and Rhysand in this book as Feyre discovers her passion for painting again. It also gives us a wonderful despription of what life is like for the Night Court after the wall between the human realms and the fae has been knocked down. I loved the dual POV between Rhysand and Feyre and Cassian and Mor. I would rate this 3 stars because nothing actually happens in the novella. It is more like an understanding for the next book kind of thing. I would recommend this book for anyone who has read the series up to here as I really enjoyed this novella. I would consider it as essential to read this novella before starting on A Court Of Silver Flames just because it helps recover from and understand the events of the previous book. It is also the last book of the Feyre and Rhysand POV chapters as A Court Of Silver Flames focuses on Nesta and Cassian in a third person narrative kind of thing!
