Alone on the wide wide sea

Alone on the wide wide sea is written by author Michael Morpurgo.It tells the story of Arthur Hobhous’s journey from England to Australia and his life during that time.

My favourite part of the book: My favourite part of the book was when Allie meets Kitty.It was quite sad though because Arthur (Kitty’s brother/Allie’s father) was not there to meet her.Another of my favourite parts was when Marty and Arthur meet aunty megs.

One of the saddest parts in the book was when Allie’s albatross passed away because Allie believed that the bird had her fathers spirit.

I would recommend this book to readers 10 and up Show more Show less
