City of Girls

I really enjoyed this book. Vivienne was so vibrant on the page. I thought the narration was interesting; an older women recounting her life in the form of a letter. I could feel the excitement at the Lily, and crashing out-of-controlness of the girls running about the city at night. The later years the city is less vivid, but the friendships are more central.
