Evie’s War

This is an amazing book about a girl and how she coped with the events of World War 1. At the beginning of the book, she had already lost her younger brother (not because of the war). She starts a new school and , with her friends, creates a new club to aid all of the warriors. While the war is going on, her dog Brandy is sent to a training camp , completely against her will. At the end of the book, Brandy never returned but Evie new that he died doing a very brave thing. This is a wonderful story that has lots the do with loss and family love. Show more Show less
