This is such a great book.I loved it so much but it’s not school friendly. It is a bit inappropriate sometimes but other than that it’s so good to read
This book was very good and I would recommend it to 11 year olds and above. It is about a refugee from Syria, named Safa. Safa had to come to Ireland because Syria was having a big war!!
There also was a girl called Ruby. Ruby had three other friends which we didn't learn much about. Ruby didn't want to talk to Safa as she thought Safa would try Rob her, but her teacher Miss Ingle made Ruby show Safa around the school and talk/ play with her on yards.
Ruby ended up being best friends with Safa and this book ended with happiness!!

This first teen/young adult book I have read in years, and Sinéad's first foray into this age group. Really enjoyed this special book, it emphasises the importance of a kind word. So much so that I bought it for my young cousin. Show more Show less
