I loved this book, a very easy read that is about a family living in famine times. The book is a bit sad but overall very enjoyable. It spreads awareness about the famine and helps to remember those who lost their lives during the famine.

I loved this book , it’s my favourite I’ve read so far ! Because it was based on the Irish famine it was quite sad in many parts of the book but so full of hope too.
It showed me just how brave you can be in very tough times no matter how young or old you are.
And how important it is to look after your siblings.
I can’t wait to move onto the next book in the trilogy ❤️ Show more Show less
